Shipping Policy

  1. Notice about our shipping costs: The shipping costs as shown on the order does not necessarily represent the carrier's published rates and may include additional charges levied by the merchant. The shipping fee is just an estimate and the actual cost will be adjusted at the Daffin's Candies office.
  2. Processing time may take one to three weeks depending upon the time of the year. During the Christmas season, it could take up to three weeks to process your order depending on the availability of product and the volume of orders that are placed. All orders will be sent, some may arrive between Christmas and New Year. During the Easter season it could take up to two weeks for orders to be processed and shipped.
  3. Three weeks prior to a holiday, depending upon how many orders are being processed, we will use our discretion with the shipping preference with added charges to make sure your package is delivered to its destination on time.
  4. Daffin's Candies shipping packages are automatically insured up to $100.00 and any package exceeding this amount will be automatically charged 50 cents more per $100.00, to be added to the customer's bill.
  5. If a customer requests a UPS Signature Requirement, a fee of $5.00 will be added to the customer's bill.
  6. If a customer requests a COD, a fee of $12.00 will be added to a customers bill. COD'S are collected by the UPS driver in the form of a Cashier's Check or Money Order.
  7. UPS Next Day Saver- The party will receive the package the next day from the day that Daffin's Candies ships the package. For instance, (Monday ship day will receive it on Tuesday. Tuesday ship day will receive it on Wednesday) providing there are no unforeseen problems such as, wrong address, missing apartment number, etc. Please remember UPS does not deliver on Saturday or Sunday unless special arrangements are made with Daffin's Candies for a Saturday delivery.
  8. UPS 2nd day Shipping- The party will receive the package 2 days from the day that Daffin's Candies ships the package. For instance, (Monday ship day will receive it on Wednesday. Tuesday ship day receive it on Thursday) providing there are no unforeseen problems such as, wrong address, missing apartment number, etc. Please remember UPS does not deliver on Saturday or Sunday unless special arrangements are made with Daffin's Candies for a Saturday delivery.
  9. UPS 3rd Day Shipping- The party will receive the package 3 days from the day Daffin's Candies ships the package. For instance, (Monday ship day will receive it on Thursday. Tuesday ship day will receive it on Friday) providing there are no unforeseen problems such as, wrong address, missing apartment number, etc. Please remember UPS does not deliver on Saturday or Sunday unless special arrangements are made with Daffin's Candies for a Saturday delivery.
  10. UPS Ground - The party will receive the package any where from 1 to 7 working days from the day Daffin's Candies ships the package. Also, during the busy holiday season the shipping time does double. Please remember UPS does not deliver on Saturday or Sunday unless special arrangements are made with Daffin's Candies for a Saturday delivery number etc.
  11. Processing time may take one day to two weeks depending on how busy the dept. is. The Christmas season may take one day to three weeks.

Daffin's can ship outside the continental United States and to Post Office Box, APO, AFPO and FPO addresses but, you need to call: 1-877-323-3465 or email order@daffins.com for the cost of the shipping process.

Warm Weather Shipping Policy

Daffin’s Candies reserves the right to postpone any shipments to certain destinations during the hottest months of the year. If this happens the customer will be notified.
Example: Texas 110 degrees, Florida 100 degrees, and several other states.

Please remember our quality chocolates must be protected from high temperatures. Consequently, during warm months we automatically use Ice Pack Shipping Charges: First day, second day, third day or ground service which ever is determined needed. We use these during months where the statistical average high temperature of either Pennsylvania or the state where your order is shipped exceeds 70° F. Please keep in mind that when it is 70° F and sunny, the inside of a delivery truck can exceed 90° F and chocolate will melt! Warm weather shipping includes one or more reusable Ice Packs.
